When it comes to features, the original JamUp model includes one amp along with six effects. On the other hand, JamUp Pro goes above and beyond by providing access to six amps and 16 premium rack and stomp-box effects such as distortion, compression, tape delay, tremolo, and spring reverb. Both versions of JamUp come equipped with essential features like Jam Player, phase sampler, tone sharing capability, preset manager, optional 8-track recorder functionality, live view control page, tuner, and metronome.
JamUp's user-friendly drag-and-drop interface allows you to effortlessly arrange amps and effects models into your preferred custom signal chain with studio-quality precision. For access to an extensive collection of 52 amp channels and 50 classic effects models, you have the option to expand your JamUp experience by purchasing additional expansion packs.
Positive Grid's MESH multi-stage modeling technology guarantees that each amp model has been meticulously developed for accuracy by measuring and analyzing against real hardware. The result is a vastly-improved sonic performance that emulates the touch and feel of a tube amplifier. In addition to being a top-notch amp modeler for mobile devices, JamUp offers convenient features like importing songs from your iTunes library for jam sessions using the Jam Player module. Adjusting tempo and pitch is made easy with the high-fidelity time-stretching engine. The sound-on-sound phrase sampler allows for effortless recording and layering of looped parts. With its built-in tuner, metronome, and optional 8-track recorder, JamUp truly provides a comprehensive and professional solution for processing and recording.
